CHOOSING THE RIGHT SPILL KIT TRAINING FOR YOUR TEAM | ECOSPILL

Spill kits are required in many workplaces to meet environmental obligations and comply with Work Health and Safety regulations. However, there is more to it than just having the correct safety equipment on-site.

As part of your responsibility to your employees, you are bound by due diligence to provide a safe work environment. These obligations are laid out by the Work Health and Safety Act of 2011. By these regulations, you are legally bound to take all reasonable steps to prevent, and to prepare for, spills of various substances. This includes having the right equipment on-site and choosing the right spill kit training for your staff.

At Ecospill, we offer a range of spill kit training, from beginner to advanced. Our spill kit training courses focus on what you need to know to meet your commercial demands and environmental obligations. In this article, we share some pointers on choosing the right spill kit training for your team.

FACTORS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING THE RIGHT SPILL KIT TRAINING

Which spill kit training course you choose for your staff will depend on a few things:

  • Their role and how likely they are to be dealing with spills
  • The time you have available for your staff to be in training
